First, be wary of opportunities that promise you riches overnight and tell you that you can do it all free. Money is energy and it has to circulate in order to come back to you.

Sure you can make money with some online investment programs. But don't delude yourself, such programs are risky. They are not the best or safest ways to build long term income from the internet. For that you need a REAL and 100% legal business.

To quote the CEO from my business: "There is a huge difference between just making money online and building a profitable business. Making money is short-term and the income stops when you stop. Building a business is long-term and the income can continue long after you stop working."

Second, as in any offline business, and even more so on the Internet, it is essential that you build ethical and trusting relationships with your customers and the people you interact with online.

Unless you sell your own products or services, the other way to earn a sustainable long term income on the net is through a legitimate affiliate, franchise or network marketing opportunity.

The best opportunities are those that let you start for free or at a very low cost and without any obligation or pressure to proceed unless you are totally satisfied and understand what is involved.
